Sorrel Pro
Most of Sorrel is free, with no cap on recipes and no advertising. One subscription unlocks the parts that need Sorrel's servers to do the work — reading a video, reading a photograph, keeping two phones the same, and letting an assistant reach your cookbook.
Free, and staying free
None of this needs a subscription, and none of it limits how many recipes you keep.

What it costs
Monthly or annual, with a 7-day free trial on the annual plan. Prices are shown in the app in your own currency, because they vary by country — and a subscription is bought through Google Play rather than on this site.
Changing or cancelling
A subscription is managed in Google Play, not in Sorrel: open the Play Store, then Subscriptions. Cancelling leaves it running until the end of the period you have paid for.
If a subscription ends
Nothing is taken away. Every recipe you saved stays on your phone, and export and backup keep working, so your recipes are always yours to take elsewhere. What stops is the work that runs on Sorrel's servers: video import, scanning, sync, household sharing and any connected assistant.
